A sophisticated set that includes a French 19th century oak bergere and ottoman. Fluted legs, indicative of the Louis XVI style, support each broad cushioned piece with slender elegance. The sturdy oak frames of each are deeply carved, molded and trimmed and have a well patinated wood finish that gleams. Comfortable cushions on each wide seat and durable ivory colored upholstery make this set easy to incorporate into any existing home decor. The worn fabric is in good condition with some staining and discoloration, as to be expected with age and use. Comfortable and deep, the seat height is 18 ½” with the cushion.
