Description
A timeless pair of French Louis XVI-style fauteuil occasional armchairs from the 1800’s or earlier. Sturdy, solid oak frames with fluted carvings appear graceful and light under the chalky white paint, which is original and variably patinated. Recently updated with new upholstery of lavender-hued velvet and accented by a nailhead trim. The gently sloped arms have inset upholstery and curve down to the base of the chair with rosettes and fluting. Please view the detailed images. Sold as a pair.
