French Set of Six Powdercoated Garden Dining Chairs
-
Description
Neoclassical style set of six patio dining chairs from France, composed of two armchairs and four armless side chairs, circa 1960, recently sandblasted and powdercoated in a gorgeous oil-rubbed-bronze color for durability. The chair backs and seats are woven of iron strips into a lattice that underscores the timeless quality of the design. Other thoughtful details include little ball finials on the top corners nodding to “Savonarola” type chairs. Curule iron legs are joined together with a stretcher ending in a flower which marks the intersection of the upper structure with the base for beautiful continuity of the lines. This vintage set of chairs transcends interior design labels and trends to be a fine addition to any terrace, garden or patio, as well as interior dining spaces. Please view the detailed images. Sold as a set of six.
