Rattan Loung Chair in Bamboo and Fabric, France, 1960's
-
Description
Lovely rattan lounge chair in great condition. Especially the cane that was used to tie the bamboo together is still very good and that's quite rare.
The main frame of this organic chair consists of 4 pieces of bamboo tied together to form the armrest but also curve into the legs. The back legs are standing quite far to the back giving the chair its support but also a smooth entrance. You can literally fall down in it and it sits very comfortably. The fabric is still good and the chair is good to go. Of course reupholstery is always an option so please reach out if you want this chair to be executed with another fabric. -
