The armchair, red and blue by Gerrit T. Rietveld with its combination of vertical and horizontal surfaces is all about the De Stijl Group. The design Classic was designed in 1918, but the color scheme strongly associated with Piet Mondrian was not added until, 1923. This item is produced circa 1990 by Cassina in Italy.
