Description
Pair of Italian Mid-Century Modern gilt iron lounge chairs or armchairs by Giovanni Banci. The chairs feature strong but delicate ironwork and design influenced by a Modern Neoclassicism and Italian design. The backrest is daringly curved, the legs are angled in a saber form with delicate feet and united by an X-frame stretcher. The entire pieces are in hand-hammered and hand chiselled iron that has been gilded. The seats are upholstered in grey leather.
