Gustavian, Louis XVI Style, Lounge Chairs, Grey Painted Wood, Fabric, 1940s
A pair of Gustavian Louis XVI lounge chairs from 20th century France. The Directoire style frames feature a distressed grey paint finish with clayed gilt accents. The removable seat cushions and slightly tilted backrests are upholstered in a tan, corduroy-like brushed fabric. Stamped 'JANSEN' on the underside.
