Offered for sale is a pair of original Hans Wegner Cigar Charis for GETAMA with the matching ottoman.
The definition of iconic, this classic mid-century Danish Modern lounge chair is known as The Cigar Chair. it was designed by Hans Wegner for GETAMA. These chairs were produced in Denmark in the 1950s, and retain the original fabric covering that shows signs of age and use. These original loose seat and back cushions have their inner springs. The set comes with the matching Cigar ottoman. The makers markings are visible on the ottoman frame as shown in the attached photo from the set.
