It was love at first sight. The moment I laid eyes on that elegant, curved backrest and gently tapered legs…. A timeless design that seemed to transcend trends and fads. I had to have it. This wasn't just a chair, it was a work of art. Just look at the joinery in the backrest… A testament to the genius of its creator, the Danish designer Hans J. Wegner. Every detail, from the smooth, organic shape to the flawless craftsmanship, spoke of a deep reverence for natural materials and the human form. Set of four dining chairs designed by Hans J. Wegner, manufactured in de 1950’s by Carl Hansen & Son, Odense Denmark. The teak-wood frames are restored and the seats are re-upholstered with a fabric of virgin wool from the Danish textile company Kvadrant (Hallingdal 65/200).
