Pair of models JH-509 armchairs designed by iconic Danish architect Hans J. Wegner in collaboration with the famous workshop of Johannes Hansen in Denmark during the 1950s. Initially designed for conference and meeting rooms, these ergonomic chairs showcase Wegner’s superior design ideals with Hansen’s craftsmanship creating one of the most iconic collaborations of Danish Modern design. These chairs feature a sculpted walnut wood frame with full-grain distressed leather upholstery and a new high-density foam interior. Our skilled artisans have meticulously restored these icons, including their new leather, which have been reupholstered for maximum functionality and durability. All while maintaining the core of Wegner's original design philosophy to make them the ideal focal point for any modern interior.
