Rocking chair designed by Danish design pioneer, Hans J. Wegner, for Mikael Laursen in Denmark circa 1940. This Danish Modern iconic design is comprised of solid oak with a stunning floral ornamentation on the edges of the frame. Features an upholstered seat in a lovely, nubby orange fabric. The ML-33 rocking chair is the first model of rocking chairs designed by Wegner. Later versions of the model do not have the carved floral detail.
