-
Description
Pair of CH-24 arm chairs designed by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Søn in Denmark in 1950. Often referred to as the ‘Wishbone’ chair or the ‘Y’ chair, this iconic design with Chinese influences, features an ebonized wood frame and the new rush cord on each seat rest. It has a sculpted “Y” back board and hind legs that graciously curve at the top to support the steam bent back piece. As the best-selling Wegner chair, this timeless design continues to reign in popularity amongst collectors of mid-century modern design.
