Description
Amazing set of four iconic model CH30 dining chairs designed by Hans J. Wegner and manufactured by Carl Hansen & Søn, Denmark 1952. This design classic features organic sensuous contours and elegant styling. They have a beautifully balanced design and offer great seating comfort due to the soft cowskin upholstery. The back rest features his signature shaped connection of the frame to the back shell.
This set is constructed entirely in a subtle combination of beech wood and teak plywood, which provide a very nice contrast. This kind of woodwork is typical for the design by Wegner. Superb crafted chairs which are in very good original condition. This early set is marked with the name of the designer and manufacturer underneath the seat. An incredible catch for any modern home, office or interior. -
