Description
These distinctive chairs were designed by Harry Bertoia in 1952.
This set was created for Knoll International - a classic midcentury retailer.
We've had all four chairs restored and re-powder coated - so they're in excellent condition.
Fantastic midcentury design!
Harry Bertoia was born in 1915 in Italy and moved to Detroit in the USA at the age of 15. He is famous for being ahead of his time as a designer of various objects including sculpture, jewelry and furniture.
Harry died in 1978, his son and a daughter are both artists and his other daughter wrote his biography and runs his Foundation. -
