A beautiful Mid-Century Modern, stylish high back, bird lounge chair and ottoman designed by Harry Bertoia circa 1960’s for Knoll. Features a stunning profile, with stylish wing-like arms, high back sculptural form, black enameled welded steel rod frame with rubber shock mounts in great condition. Chair and Ottoman retain original upholstery. Sleek design with a shaped high back and winged arms. Simple lines and Scandinavian styling, paired with matching ottoman. The bird lounge chair is among the most exceptional chairs made. It is the most striking piece. Comfortable and stylish seating has the perfect contours for the body. This chair will instantly bring comfort and elegance to your room.
Condition Report: Exhibit little signs of wear, welded steel rod frame is in good structural condition, shows well. Original early upholstery with fading and wear, it should be changed. Construction is strong and sturdy.
