-
Description
This striking armchair was designed by Henning (Henry) Kjærnulf in the 1960s. This particular model named 'Kurul' was produced by EG Kvalitetsmøbel in Denmark. This armchair in solid oak blends the classic kurul design with rounded, curved contours, featuring an upholstered seat and backrest. The oak frame is intricately carved and sculpted, demonstrating the craftsmanship of both the designer and the manufacturer. The chair could also serve effectively as a stylish addition to a desk or office setting. The chair is in a very good condition, the wood with a natural and even patina. Some minor, non-disturbing marks on the wood. The seat and backrest have been reconditioned and newly upholstered in a beautiful ivory Lelièvre Paris bouclé fabric.
