Description
Finnish interior architect, Carl Gustaf Hiort Af Ornäs designed modernist 1940s armchair with a high rounded back, detailed with a rolled edge. Four solid stained wood wedge shaped legs provided a sculpture like base to the chair. Produced at Hiort Tuote Puunveisto, Finland which was founded by Hiort Af Ornäs in 1945. This early piece was part of a small production run at the workshop.
Height to seat 14.25”. Width 28.75”, total height 39.75”. Manufacturer's stamp. -
