Made in the heart of the American Mid-West, this bench features classic American woods, and high-quality, almost homebuilt production. The large seat panel is a huge panel of cedar, hand-carved to show a nice grain texture. the spindles that adorn the back and arms are carved of oak, allowing rigidity that feels great to sit in. Despite the rustic feel of the build and materials, this design shows some touches of modernism, such as the rear legs, inclined at an angle for a sleeker look. Many years ago, I myself owned one, and used it at my dining table. I'm pleased to be offering this example, and am confident you'll love this bench as much as I loved mine.

This bench has worn beautifully over its lifetime. It has a heavy patina, including age-appropriate marks and scuffs. But this adds to its character. No longer produced as standard by Hunt.
