Description
An elegant sofa designed by Ilmari Lappalainen and manufactured by Asko Oy in Finland in the 1940s. The sofa is reupholstered with natural sheepskin and apart from the reupholstery the sofa is in original and very good condition.
The sofa is very comfortable to sit in. Suitable for living rooms, reading rooms, bedrooms or entrances.
Ilmari Lappalainen was one of the main designers in Asko since the 1940s and has numerous furniture designs. As for Asko, it was the leading furniture manufacturer in Finland and one of the biggest furniture manufacturers in Europe during the mid-century years. -
