Rare John Dickinson Upholstered Settee and Chairs
-
Description
John Dickinson (1920-1982), the renowned San Francisco based designer and decorator created this settee and chair set with carved tree branch legs for the artist Ralph Du Casse's home in 1967. Dickinson also made another set for his own house, the Firehouse. These are the only two sets known to be made and were held in private collections. This is the first time this design is coming on the market, making this set very rare. Dickinson's design aesthetic was based on historical knowledge, simplicity and fantasy. If you love John Dickinson's innovative designs this set is for you.
