Mid-Century Modern set of four bentwood beech armchairs designed by Austrian architects Josef Frank and Josef Hoffman for Thonet. Each chair stamped made in Poland. The chairs feature cane inset seat and backs. Known as Prague chairs model 811 the chairs have an iconic profile with square arms and seat designed in the 1920s. The chairs have a natural finish in a warm vintage patina. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with original and some non-original hardware. Well preserved from an estate in San Francisco, CA.
