Description
Koloman Moser design Purkersdorf Sanatorium Armchair for Wittman. Austria, designed 1903; reissued 1970s. An icon of Viennese Modernism, designed for the entrance hall of the Purkersdorf Sanatorium. Originally produced by Wiener Werkstätte, it was later reissued by Wittman. Painted beech frame with woven seat. Chair webbing is intact but fragile and not recommended for sitting unless redone.
