A country house ottoman with upholstered soft leather top over stylish inwardly curved concave leather sides outlined with bronze studs above molded mahogany base on flattened bun feet. Nice mellow color. Lift-up hinged lid with storage inside. Useful as a storage chest at the foot of a bed, as a living room bench by a fireside, as a mudroom bench, or even as a coffee table. England, circa 1900.
