Lina Bo Bardi MidCentury Bowl Chair in Iron and plastic
-
Description
Bowl chair designed by Lina Bo Bardi and produced in 1951. With the bowl armchair Lina, it combines Brazil's predilection for pronounced shapes with European industrial minimalism, a true transformation of both materials and style. The armchair is made of iron in two sections or structures. The first structure where the seat rests is made of a circular iron tubular. The second structure, also made of iron is conical in shape, is the one that houses the seat made of plastic ropes. The conical shape of iron is supported by the first tubular structure and thanks to its shape allows multiple actions of sitting because the armchair can be turned in any shape. In the photos we also find the projects for its realization. The armchair is ideal for design lounges and modern environments.
The armchair is in good condition, has very slight wear and tear in the structure due to age and use. -
