1970s set of six Minimalist dining chairs, entirely handcrafted, Mid-Century Modern Italian design attributed to Giacomo Sinopoli for Liwan's, a Roman manufacturer, with high quality construction and attention to design details: the simple yet distinctive structure presents a double frame in brass and nickel embracing the back and shaping in a continuous design the square nickel legs diagonally decorated with a brass line to produce an enticing geometric side view. Reupholstered with Nobilis fabrics, a textured grey blue and white silk velvet for the fronts highlighted with a moire white leathery fabric for the backs.
Giacomo Sinopoli was more into architecture but designed an exclusive documented collection in the 1970s for the Roman Company Liwan’s. His furniture pieces are rare on the market.
