Unique functional sculpture carved from a single piece of wood in the shape of a chair. Each piece in our production is carved by artists with basic wood carving power tools. Every chair is made as unique as it can be, with dedication to each single detail. We exclusively make 1/1 original pieces, no reproductions are made, and that is what every client deserves. Bald, original and unique. Decorating your interior with such unique masterpiece will bring your home interior to the next level. Chair is carved with the flow of inspiration that comes into the artist at the very moment of creation, which makes each one of a kind. What makes it even more interesting than just a regular piece of art is that it is functional, you are able can interact with it and use it, make it part of your everyday life, which makes you more connected with it and appreciate it even more. Our biggest inspiration is nature itself that lead us through our creations. We do not cut down for our material, we seek out downed tree logs in our local forest and grant it new eternal life. Daba, Dažbog is the god of fertility, the Sun, the protector of weddings, nature, wealth, giving and aid. For this piece, the artist chose richly ornamented poplar base material. The backrest with full back support consists of clean lines stretching across the whole length of the back, while the upper section is extended and also functions as a headrest. The middle darker part of the rest reminds us of a daily movement of the sun descending to the seat and transforming into the Moon - actually going to rest. The edge of the circle (seat) slowly slopes into semi-circle with stable and firm legs reminiscent of those of the ungulates protruding from it. Daba chair is inspired by Svarun chair and as every piece listed on these pages is unique and made out of single piece of poplar.
