-
Description
This is a charming late 19th century of early 20th century French walnut bergere that is upholstered in a vintage fabric with various flowers scattered on a pale yellow background. The walnut frame is well carved in. a Louis XVI style and is in overall very good condition. The cushion is down and feather filled. The upholstery, although not new, is in very good condition with evidence of minor fading which adds a layer of patina to the chair. The dimensions of the bergere are a little more generous than the usual bergere, making the chair very comfortable for all body configurations. This classic chair would fit perfectly into a Coastal-designed interior.
