Description
This 1960’s Barcelona stool is in a saddle tan leather. It was beautifiully cared for. The metal is stainless steel and will not rust. The leather is undamaged and the frame s solid and sturdy. Designed in 1929 for the German Pavilion of the International Exposition by Mies Van Der Rose and Lily Reich, Florence Knoll bought the manufacturing rights in 1948 and began producing these chairs in stainless steel in the late 1950’s as an upper end option fot the consumer.
