Neoclassical steel brass curule bench by Maison Jansen 1960s
-
Description
Beautiful 1960’s Curule Savonarola bench made of heavy stainless steel metal with brass accents. This timeless bench was created by French interior design firm Maison Jansen in the early sixties. The sparse original structure feels like a piece of modern art. It has been fully restored and newly upholstered with a royal blue silky Jacquard depicting a celestial atmosphere from Dedar Milano. Every part of these decorative piece is quality made—evident by the heaviness of the bench—resulting in a timeless French mid-century flair.
