Description
French Art Deco armchair made by Decoration Lévitan in 1934 and documented in their catalogue of that year. The chair is beautifully proportioned with an upper body upholstered in velvet, with the plane of each arm subtly curved along the top to lean down into the backrest, and the whole of this cubed Modernist form set atop a recessed plinth base.
