Elegant Pair of French Mid-Century Modern Neoclassical armchairs in hand hammered and chiseled wrought iron with thick, oak seats and backrests in the style of Marc Duplantier. The lounge or club chairs present a refreshing, open, transparent form that reference both the past and the modern future.
Du Plantier created a model in wrought iron in 1936 with a similar backrest using a modified lyre form motif. -
