Description
An original 'LADY' lounge chair designed by Marco Zanuso in 1951 for Arflex, Milano. The "Lady" armchair is also known as the 720 armchair.
Arflex Manufacturer label plate under the seat.
It was presented this same year at the 9th Milano Triennial, where he won the gold medal. This armchair is the icon of modernity and the result of an important technical and material innovation that will invert the traditional working system of each element by producing them separately and assembling them.
Original piece from the 1950s /60s newly re-upholstered, we used a fine quality wool bouclé fabric.
We can particularly appreciate the work and savoir-faire of our team of upholsterers respecting the original design, using the right proportions and lines as it was designed in the 50's.
Black lacquered metal feet.
Very good condition.
The pictures give an accurate representation of the condition.
