Biography
Miroslav Navrátil (Czech Republic 1913 - 1999)
Miroslav Navrátil was a Czech designer. He was born in 1913 in Boršice in the Zlín region. He was a member of a studio called Vývoj nábytkářského průmyslu (Development of the furniture industry. Miroslav Navratil used innovative techniques for the time, such as the use of fiberglass to form his chairs. One of his best-known creations is the “T3” streetcar chair. He died in Brno in 1999.
