Pair 19th Century English Cast Iron Garden Benches
-
Description
This is an extraordinary pair of Victorian cast iron benches in a fern pattern. The front supports are in the form of winged griffins and the back legs seem to be scrolling vines. The benches are beautifully patinated and have only minimal indications of rust. Both benches are solid and very heavy. I would not restrict their use to garden settings as they would make beautiful entry or pared dining room pieces.
