Description
Large and very elegant and well made pair of Chinese armchairs from the late 800s. The pair of armchairs are in curved wood. The backrest is curved and is panelled with friezes depicting figures of flora and ornaments. The very bulky armrests have imperfections, i.e. the lacquer has come off slightly.
The seats are square in shape with inserted floral elements with gold lacquered elements.
