Description
A pair of French Louis XV style painted bergères à oreilles from the late 19th century, with grey painted finish and upholstery. Created in France during the last quarter of the 19th century, each of this pair of bergères features a slanted wingback, adorned with a carved motif on the crest. Presenting a custom cushion, each chair is upholstered with a neutral fabric complementing the Louis XV lines beautifully. The bergères are raised on cabriole legs with fan motifs on the knees, and are accented with carved floral décor on the apron. With their graceful lines and painted finish, this pair of Louis XV wingback bergères chairs circa 1880 will bring a touch of refinement to any living room or bedroom. The seats are: 21" deep. Professionally reupholstered, some minor imperfections from being in our showroom.
