Pair of George III Arm Chairs in Vintage Fortuny

Description
This is an exceptional pair of George III, c. 1780 painted and gilt open arm chairs. The chairs are newly upholstered in a vintage (c.1970-1980's) Fortuny. The Fortuny has mellowed to just the right tone for the pale gray-green of the chair frames. Both chairs are sturdy and ready for another 200 years of use. This pair of chairs would complement any period room, they are understated and very chic.
