Pair of Italian Wingback Chairs in Cherrywood, Italy 1960s
-
Description
Pair of Italian reupholstered cherry wood wingback lounge chairs from the 1960s. Two exquisite lounge chairs with a distinct design that reminds us of the designs of Gio Ponti and Frattini. The frame is made with a lot of finesse and especially on the front and rear legs you can see a nice tension on the curved part.
On both outer sides of the frame are six brass bolts that, in addition to their function, also serve as a subtle decoration. The frame is made of cherry and is accurately finished with high-gloss lacquer and the new upholstery, resulting in a chic look.
These refined examples are in top condition and will effortlessly steal the show in a wide range of interior styles, as they once did in a villa at lake Como in Italy. -
