Description
Early Classic French Art Deco salon suite in sculpted giltwood. Suite consists of a settee, two armchairs, two side chairs and a small table. The chaise lounge from this suite is in the Decorative Arts collection of the Louvre, Paris. Model exhibited at the 1912 Salon des Artistes Decorateurs, Paris, 1912. Documented in the portfolio from the exhibition. Only one other known example of this suite was made.
This suite also appeared in two seasons of HBO's Boardwalk Empire. - More Information
