Description
A rare oak, custom-made Paul Frankl swivel stool from a Los Angeles Interior by Frankl, which was documented in a House Beautiful magazine in 1945.
The stool still has the original pink lacquer finish and the original upholstery, which matches its picture in the magazine. The filling of the seating has been replaced. When desired, the stool can be professionally reupholstered in our in-house atelier. We have a second stool of this model (with brown wood and a yellow fabric) available.
Paul T. Frankl (1886–1958) was an Austrian-American Art Deco architect and designer that became famous for his 'skyscraper style' designs in the 1920s. -
