Description
This is the single arm example of the Tangāli Modular Chair which was designed by INODA+SVEJE in collaboration with the Phantom Hands workshop. The contours of the frame are completely shaped by hand in solid teak and the cane is woven and wrapped around the chair frame in the signature style of the Tangāli collection. This piece is one of a suite of furniture, which includes this chair in an armless and a two-arm version, as well as the Tangāli Coffee Table and the Tangāli Side Table. The Modular Chairs can be arranged to form a multi-seat sofa, or placed separately throughout a space to maximize the impact of the design.
This suite of furniture is available in the Natural Teak and the Dark Stain wood finishes.
This set strikes a lovely balance between some of the most notable Danish designs of the 20th Century, and iconic examples of Indian Modernism from the same era.
