Pierre Gautier-Delaye Dining Chairs Set - 1960's
-
Description
Mid-century modern set of eight "coffee bean" chairs by French designer Pierre Gautier Delaye circa 1965. This set of subtle and modest dining chairs is executed in stained beechwood. The seating area is divided into two organically shaped slats and is detailed with wood joints of the four cylindrical legs. The small-looking backrest that is attached to the slender back legs creates an elegant appearance.
