This outstanding pair of Committee Chairs was designed and produced by Pierre Jeanneret for the city of Chandigarh, India. The city, designed and planned by his cousin, Le Corbussier was the dream city of India's first Prime Minister, Nehru. They were hand made of teak wood which shows patina from use and age. These chairs have been re-upholstered in yellow leather very similar to their original color. The last photo shows the chairs in situ.
