Stunning pair of vintage Pierre Paulin ribbon chairs. Manufactured by Artifort and distributed by Turner Ltd in the late 1960s. These pair retain their original yellow woven fabric in very nice condition. The yellow lacquered bases are also in wonderful vintage condition. Incredible swooping lines and contoured shape, an innovative vision of the well-known ribbon form. The color combination is dynamic and luxurious. An Iconic design by Pierre Paulin, these are as much pieces of sculpture as furniture. Sexy, playful, exuberant yet comfortable, his furniture is above all supple and lively. Each chair measures: 28 in. H x 39.5 in. W x 29 in. D.

Very nice vintage condition with minor age-appropriate wear. Some very minor spots on the seat cushion-very hard to notice. Minor pills to the original fabric-again hard to notice. The lacquered yellow bases have some very minor scuffs and dings.
