Description
The iconic flag Halyard chair was designed by Hans Wegner in 1950 and is now produced by PP Mobler. With a unique cradle-like design one is guaranteed comfort and elegance while enjoying a lounging experience from a fine form of art. This chair is constructed with a stainless steel frame. The supporting base frame has H-shaped legs with a wide stance to make the chair stable. It is covered with a single length of black flag line rope and paired with a luxurious long haired sheep skin. The headrest is upholstered in a walnut elegence leather and held in place with black bridle leather straps.
Many designers have made contributions to the production at PP Mobler. Among them, world famous Danish designer, Hans J. Wegner who is very much a focus. His designs have been described as timeless and free from passing trends. With each piece, you get a sense of the uncompromising demand to quality and a deep respect for the craft and design.
