Rare Specimen Burl Oak Chair

Description
An exceptional one-of-a-kind estate-made vernacular armchair crafted to show off an ancient specimen oak burl. The front of the chair is of Regency design, with sinuous curved arms and arm supports on sabered legs, still retaining its horsehair and hessian upholstery to seat and back. The back is a solid burl having wonderful patina and organic form.
