Italian sofà Attributed to Carlo Enrico Rava in Bouclè Fabric, 1940s
-
Description
Rare sofa attributed to Carlo Enrico Rava from 1940. The sofa has been restored in a beautiful bouclè fabric very fashionable in this period. The fabric is brown which gives the seat warmth and softness. The peculiarity of the sofa is its shape, in fact its shell is sculpted on the inside giving fluid and soft forms. Its armrests that vibrate towards each other give strength and character to the seat, while its specially perforated back creates an unusual play of anthropomorphic shapes. The shaped feet together with the armchair create solidity and a touch of elegance.
The sofa is ideal for young environments where the eccentricity of the living room takes centre stage. Its two matching armchairs complete the set. You can find them in our store. -
