"Imagine Sofa" by Hans Hopfer for Roche Bobois, 1990. Designed to create "visual comfort" with scalloped arms and a slight asymmetrical back. Brand new upholstery, high-quality wool bouclé. Fashioned with the original black wooden feet. No tags present.
Hans Hopfer (1931-2009) was a German-born painter, sculptor, and designer. He is regarded as the pioneer of “seating landscapes,” most notably for his stackable modular Mah Jong Sofa, designed in 1971 for Roche Bobois. -
