This pair of sofas was designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec in the early 2000s for production exclusively by Vitra, one of the most recognized manufacturing and design powerhouses in the entire industry. With agreements to produce many of the most famous Eames and Hans Wegner pieces, Vitra has also made a name for itself with its classically German production standards. These sofas are no different, with quality besting many Italian and American manufacturers. Their frames are of tubular chromed steel, which wrap around MDF boards upholstered in Vitra's Volo Mid-Gray upholstery. This pleasing color is paired with the sleeker low-back design and the 485mm lounge-style upholstry. New, including all costs associated, these sofas would set a buyer back by $15,000 each, and would take an additional 12-14 weeks to ship due to their made-to-order nature.

I purchased these sofas from the AT&T building in Bedminster, NJ, where they were surrounded by many other designer pieces from the likes of Knoll, Wilkhahn, and Brickel. Absolutely no expense was spared when furnishing this building.

In very good condition. These were likely rarely ever sat in, and it shows. Upholstry is clean with no stains or fading and chrome is bright and free of virtually any wear. You will love these sofas in your home or office.
