Set of 12 Swedish 1900s Painted Dining Room Chairs with Sinuous Pierced Motifs
-
Description
A set of 12 Swedish dining room side chairs from the early 20th century, with new upholstery. Created in Sweden during the early years of the 20th century, each of this set of side chairs features an open back pierced with sinuous motifs and topped a curving upper rail, flowing seamlessly into the hind legs. A rectangular seat, covered with an existing blue fabric with meander motifs, rests upon four legs, tapered and fluted in the front, and connected to one another through an H-Form cross stretcher. Painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste and boasting a nicely aged patina, this set of 12 Swedish chairs circa 1900 will bring a touch of simple elegance to any dining room!
